Red skies burned, and shadows fell,
A land consumed, a fiery hell.
But in the ash, in soot, in flame,
Courage rose to call its name.
The mountain burned, but hearts stayed true,
Heroes fought for me, for you.
Raise your glass to the ones who gave,
To the land they loved, the lives they saved.
This whiskeyās born of fireās fight,
A flame of hope, a golden light.
Drink to the past, the fight, the vow,
For healing lives, for here, for now.

Courage rose to call its name.

Australia
A poignant tribute to resilience and renewal, crafted in the wake of the devastating Australian bushfires. Distilled from grains harvested from the scorched earth of Cambewarra, this whiskey is aged in barrels charred by the very fires that ravaged the land, imparting a deep, smoky flavor that is both intense and reflective.
Aged and released in limited batches, Cambewarra .135 is not just a whiskey; itās a symbol of hope and the enduring human spirit. Each bottle sold supports ongoing recovery efforts, making it a meaningful contribution to the healing of both land and people. Itās a powerful reminder of what can bloom from the ashes, dedicated to those who stand tall and fight on, no matter the odds.
No man should live by the rules of others. He was the breath of the wind in the gums, the shadow between the trees, the whisper of
In the summer of 2019-2020, red skies and black smoke hung over towns. Ash fell like snow, blanketing the earth, while flames tore through forests, fields, and homes. Millions of hectares were lost, over a billion creatures perished, and thirty-four lives were tragically cut short. Yet, amid the inferno, heroes emerged. laughter that lingers long after the fire has burned low. He lived fast, loved deep, and never let the world cage him. He was proof that freedom is not given – it is taken, held tight, and carried like a secret beneath the ribs.
Ordinary people stood shoulder to shoulder, wielding courage like a shield. Families bound together, communities rallied, and strangers became lifelines. In the face of unimaginable destruction, one message echoed across the land: We will not give up.
From the fires that swept the Cambewarra rangeāa place whose name, in local Indigenous language, means Mountain on Fireāthis whiskey is crafted. Using charred wood from the very edge of the burned property, combined with our signature white oak, we have created a whiskey that carries the essence of survival. It is a tribute to those who stood against the flames, who sacrificed and endured.
But Cambewarra .135 is more than a whiskey; itās a lifeline for the future. Released in three batchesāafter 1 year, 3 years, and 5 yearsāit ensures sustained support for the families, firefighters, and wildlife who need help long after the flames have died.
This is our way of helping our country heal. Of saying thank you to the brave. Of promising we will never forget.
Leaden Hearts Cambewarra .135 Limited Edition Whiskey was created as a bushfire appeal initiative to support those impacted by the devastating fires that ravaged Australia from November 2019 to March 2020.
The scale of the destruction was staggering: over 18.5 million hectares burned, thirty-four lives lost, more than a billion animals killed, and countless communities left in ashes. In a country home to species found nowhere else in the world, the fires marked a continental-scale emergency, threatening ecosystems and livelihoods alike.
We wanted to help in a way that wasnāt just immediate but sustainable. Thatās why Cambewarra Whiskey is being released in three stages:
ā¢1 Year: To address urgent needsāsupporting families, firefighters, and wildlife recovery efforts.
ā¢3 Years: To continue funding community rebuilding and habitat restoration projects.
ā¢5 Years: To ensure long-term recovery for the land and its people.
Using techniques honed in our Nyungar Balga Barrel Whiskey, we incorporated charred wood from the bushfire-affected land, crafting small-batch barrels that combine it with our traditional white oak aging process. The result is a whiskey with a rich, smoky depthāa reminder of the fires that scarred the land and the spirit that endures.
Every cent of profit from Cambewarra Whiskey is donated to bushfire recovery initiatives.Ā
This is our promise: to honor the bravery of those who fought, to support the lives forever changed, and to stand as stewards of the land we love.

The Fire That Took, The Fire That Gave
The Ballad of the 2019 Australian Bushfires
The air was thick, the sky burned red,
The river ran black where the ashes bled.
The gums stood tall, then cracked and fell,
As embers danced in a fiery hell.
A wind like fury, a howl like pain,
The mountains roared, then fell to flame.
Smoke curled high like a serpentās breath,
As men stood watch at the gates of death.
The fire came fast, it came like a beast,
It swallowed the land, it burned through the east.
The birds took flight, the cattle ran,
But some stood firm, they made their stand.
With water and grit, with hands gone raw,
They fought for home, they fought for more.
For the sheds, for the soil, for the lives they built,
For the love of a land that had never wilted.
The wind would shift, the flames would rise,
Yet still they stood beneath the skies.
And when at last the rains came down,
They walked through blackened, silent ground.
Through smoke and ruin, through loss and pain,
They knew the land would breathe again.
For where fire takes, the earth still gives,
And in the ashes, something lives.
Ā
So raise a glass to those who stay,
To those who fight and do not sway.
To Cambewarraās burning night,
And to the hands that held the light.
